5. Links to third-party websites and services #
For your convenience, our service may provide links to third-party websites or services that we do not own or operate. We are not responsible for the practices employed by any websites or services linked to or from the services, including the information or content contained within them. Your browsing and interaction on any other website or service are subject to the applicable third party's rules and policies, not ours. If you are using a third-party website or service, you do so at your own risk. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any site or service before providing any personal information.
6. Extension data and permissions #
Accessing your data
The extension stores your session data, including structure, links, and settings, in local files on your computer, using the web browser storage and local storage APIs. You can access these files at any time, and export or back them up.
Extension Permissions
The extension requests some browser permissions for core functionality. These can be inspected through the browser's extension detail page. The extension is required to have read access to your browsing history. This does not allow Sessionblocks to read the content of web pages you visit or any information contained or inserted on those web pages, which would require an explicit site access permission that the service does not request. In particular, the extension uses the following browser APIs:
- Tabs. Used to retrieve live tab information, including title, URL, favicon, and window structure.
- Sessions. Used to access session event listeners for data updates.
- Storage. Used to store session data locally and sync it across local environments.
- Identity. Used for secure authentication-based flows.
The extension further requires host permissions, used to connect to the service server for authentication and subscription purposes, and to its Github repository for external file access.
7. Privacy notice changes #
We reserve the right to change this privacy notice from time to time in our sole discretion. We will notify you about material changes in the way we treat personal information by sending a notice to the primary email address specified in your Sessionblocks account and/or by placing a prominent notice on our site. It is your responsibility to review this privacy notice periodically. When we do change the privacy notice, we will also revise the “last modified” date.
